PRE-SEASON TESTING
Ahead of the season opener, Lincoln took an important step in his racing campaign, getting behind the wheel of his Porsche for the first time with Tekworkx Motorsport. Pre-season testing at Queensland Raceway and Phillip Island provided a valuable opportunity to dial in the car, build confidence, and develop a strong working rhythm with the team. With laps under his belt at two of Australia’s most iconic circuits, Lincoln heads into the season with momentum and a solid foundation to build on.
ROUND 1 - PHILLIP ISLAND
Round 1 at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit (27–29 March) was a strong debut for Lincoln, showing speed and steady progression throughout the weekend.
After going P2 in Practice 1 and P1 in Practice 2, he carried that form into the races. In Race 1, Lincoln was running P2 and closing on the lead before damage to the front splitter forced him to settle for P3. He bounced back with a P2 finish in Race 2, before a tough Race 3 saw him hit with a penalty and fight back through the field to P9 in the Pro class.
Lincoln finished the weekend tied for third overall in points, marking a promising start to the season and a valuable learning experience heading into the next round at The Bend.
FORMULA FORD APPEARANCE - CHRISTCHURCH
Lincoln returned to Formula Ford action in New Zealand from 17–19 April with Nigel and the team for the Christchurch Super 440, showing strong pace throughout a challenging weekend.
Starting P8 in Race 1, he worked his way into the top three before contact dropped him back, recovering to finish P10 under safety car. Race 2 ended early due to brake issues after making early progress from P10. In Race 3, he delivered a standout drive from the rear to P2 before being forced off track, resulting in another DNF. He finished Race 4 strongly, again charging through the field from the back to P6.
Despite the mixed results, the weekend highlighted clear speed, racecraft, and the ability to move through the pack in competitive conditions.

PORSCHE CAMP
Recently Lincoln took part in the Porsche Michelin Junior Camp 2026, a high-performance training program designed to develop the next generation of professional drivers.
The camp combined intensive physical training, classroom sessions, and on-track experience, pushing participants across all areas of driver development. Held over several days, the program began with strength and conditioning work in Mount Tamborine before wrapping up with a Porsche Driving Experience at Mt Cotton.
It was a challenging and rewarding week, bringing together some of the country’s top junior talent — and Lincoln made his mark, setting the fastest lap time of the camp.
Despite the mixed results, the weekend highlighted clear speed, racecraft, and the ability to move through the pack in competitive conditions.

ROUND 2 - THE BEND
Lincoln Taylor returned to The Bend Motorsport Park for another weekend of racing, showing strong pace throughout the event and continuing to build momentum.
After two practice sessions, Lincoln secured P5 in qualifying to start Race 1 from inside the top five. The opening races proved challenging, with Lincoln caught up in incidents across both Race 1 and Race 2, affecting his overall results despite strong pace.
Bouncing back for the final race, Lincoln started from P7 and pushed through to finish the weekend with a P9 result.

The weekend also fell on Mother’s Day, with Lincoln hoping to deliver a strong result for his mum. While it wasn’t the perfect weekend on paper, there were plenty of positives to take away, and the team leaves The Bend ready to come back stronger.

ROUND 3 - QUEENSLAND RACEWAY
Lincoln started the weekend at Queensland Raceway with strong pace, finishing P3 in practice and qualifying. In qualifying, he was on a hot lap with two purple sectors late in the session, but a red flag brought it to an early end just as he was about to close his third and final purple sector.
With a rainy Race 1 was held under yellow flag most of the race but lincoln ended up taking a P2 finish, before stepping it up in Race 2 to take the win. Across both races Lincoln showed consistency and control to stay in the fight for race 3.
Race 3 delivered a hard-fought battle, with Kobi Williams applying constant pressure in the fight for the lead. Lincoln stayed strong through the second half of the race, winning the battle with Kobi to secure the overall win at The Paperclip and celebrating in champagne showers.
Next up is Round 4 of the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge at Townsville, Queensland.
OFF ROAD DEBUT
Fresh off his first Porsche round win at Queensland Raceway, Lincoln Taylor made his Pro Buggy debut in the Queensland Off-Road Racing Championship, behind the wheel of the #24 Method Race Wheels TATUM AK47 Pro Buggy, fresh off the Tatts Finke Desert Race where it was driven by his uncle Ryan.
The buggy carries deep family significance, marking the last car Lincoln’s Poppy competed in before his sudden passing, making the opportunity to race it particularly meaningful for the family. Despite now being heavily focused on circuit racing, Lincoln’s connection to off-road racing runs.
Lincoln had a standout weekend, finishing P1 in class, P1 in junior class, and P3 overall out of all competitors.
A special thank you goes to Gympie Auto Sports Club for allowing Lincoln to take his Ninny for a lap in the buggy, creating a really special moment for the Taylor family. Deep through his upbringing with his Poppy Nev and uncle Ryan, making the debut a surreal moment.
ROUND 4 - TOWNSVILLE STREET CIRCUIT
Lincoln returned to Townsville with strong pace from the opening sessions, finishing P2 in both practice sessions and putting himself in a strong position heading into qualifying. Continuing that momentum, he delivered a solid qualifying lap to secure P2 on the grid for the opening race of the weekend.
Race 1 saw Lincoln fight hard at the front of the field, crossing the line in P3 and collecting valuable points. Across the remaining races, he continued to show consistency and race pace, battling through a competitive field and making the most of every opportunity.
Lincoln finished the Townsville round with an overall result of P4, adding another strong weekend to his Porsche campaign, sitting 3rd in the championship. With plenty of positives to take away, he now turns his focus to the next round in Sydney as he continues to chase strong results.
